There is a site that maintains a database that lists all the places that sell it. There is nothing close to Fayette county and I don't recall the site name but I bet Google does.

I have been reading that all the ethanol treatments that are being sold don't really work on phase separation. This came from Mercury and Honda web sights. I live in Henry co. and we have no stations here that sell non ethanol fuel. anyone know if more stations might be selling non ethanol recreation fuel around here??? I have got it when I go to Lake Cumberland but can't see to find it locally. Any help?

Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada
Looks like your most "local" station is in Shelbyville.
(& that's not a complete listing, either ... as I know of two more non-ethanol locations around Green River Lake, that are not listed)
You could always add a water/fuel separator between the gas tank & engine !!
... pappy
thanks for the help, I have been thinking of adding a water separator.
KYRiverBlues,
You said you've got it when you go to Lake Cumberland.... Where do you get it around lake cumberland, which gas station? Thanks!

if you are familiar with where the fruit of the loom plant is , its right in front of it. its pump#13, sits by itself right beside hwy127, its called "recreational fuel" and it is 100% ethanol free. cost usually hovers right around $4/gal. my mtotr does run and idle noticeably smoother , however i can see a little difference in fuel economy. same round trip, same wt ld, roughly the same conditions i seem to use more fuel. the down side to this particular marathon is they are not (havent been anyway) open 24 hrs. so i always fuel the evening before.

I always run shell gas in the boat and small engines becasue the one by the house dont have the placards that say may contain 10% ethanol on them. If they dont have that sign there is less than 10% ethanol in the gas adn i have never had any problems with the gas. I have noticed that most shells dont have that placard. But thats just my 2 cents...
Thanks guys
I am not a purist on the subject and my OB manual says 10% Ethanol is fine but I know a lot of people are concerned about it. I wonder if a member supplied user data listing might not make a good addition to the site.
