    Taylorsville Lake is NOT closed

Called COE. They said the lake will not be closed due to the algae bloom. Last samples were elevated since the last sampeling.

Someone may be confused with certain ramps being closed due to the high water.

That is what it sounds like to me.

Don't wet the line with your tongue when tying a knot if you fish there either.

They only closed settlers trace because high water. The state dock is still open its just flooded. As far as the algae goes dnr doesn't seem to concerned with it just as long as we all have common sense and not fish the areas with the algae it shouldn't be a problem. I've talked with several people that say the amount of algae is very minuscule and that there is no signs of the lake closing due the algae bloom unless something drastically changes.
