Don't think so.....I read he was a 28 year old man and that they were hoping that as the current recedes by Monday evening they have better chances of finding him.

I thought I heard they did find him last week. I found one online link to the story just now for corroboration, but it wasn't one of the "major" KY news outlets.

Michael I think they had said they had spotted him by Helicopter and then sent a team to retrieve the body. When they got there he was gone. My guess is he has now made it as far as the Kentucky River? Very sad, such a young guy and all. They shouldn't have been wading in the current that Sunday afternoon as it was too strong but I've waded in some VERY border line water before so I won't say too much.
I'm sure the family is just sick...very sad.

They found him about a mile from where he fell in...

I believe they were actually bank fishing and the guy slipped on some muddy ground and fell in.

    Shame...

Thanks guys so sorry this happened but glad for closeure for the family however. I thought I heard they were wading or ''IN'' the water but you know the media and how they report these days.

Something like this can happen to any one of us at any given time it really makes you think..

My home church is a few yards from where the young man fell in. I was out there in case we needed to move stuff to higher ground.

That 100-yard stretch of bank was nonstop with sightseers all day long. Including one guy who had a kayak on top of his Subaru. He got out of his car, walked to the edge of the raging creek. It looked like he was starting to unhook his kayak when his friends talked him out of it.

    Just a tragedy.
