    Nolin night bite?

It's been years since I've fished nolin at night and I'm needing some pointers. I know from reading posts on here the bite seemed to be on fire in June but I haven't heard much since. Also any areas on the lake would really help. I don't care if its small fish or giants my dad and I are just out to have a good time. I don't need specific locations just any tips would help. Thanks guys

The lake jumped about 12-15 feet the 4th, they've got it pulled down, but I have'nt been able to locate anything
over 12"-14". Those seem to be on rock banks, and points. With this heat, I'd try big worms, jig and spinnerbaits
on points, steep rock banks. fish about 14-20 feet deep....hope this helps...T

Thanks big T. When you say big worms do you mean like 10 inch big? I normally just use 7 inch but I have a few 10 inch packs. I'm thinking about just going to rough now but not for sure yet.

With this hot weather I would try the steep rock banks and if you used the worm I would try the 10 or 11 inch worm first. If no luck maybe size down. But my preference would be the spinnerbait with the full moon just ahead. Good luck.

Put in at moutierdier a little before dark and ran to wax big fish came out of a foot of water on a 10.5 inch black worm. We worked our way back down towards what my dad called the pineys (it was past brier creek). Over the night we had 20+ some shallow and some deep. They were on rock banks and rock points. We caugh our fish on a 10.5 inch black worm, 7 inch black, 7 inch June bug, and a 7 inch black and blue worm. We only had one keeper which was about 2 lbs the majority were all between 10-12 inches with a bigger slot here and there. Hope this helps. And thanks to everyone who gave some tips. My dad and I don't get to fish together much anymore and it was nice to be able to stay on fish all night.
