Having spent most of my life in MO and a lot of time on LOZ and Truman, I can tell you whichever you choose you will be spending a lot of time at one dock or the other like most anglers. But if you want a change there are shallow water bass available for someone who knows how to flip and those fish get less pressure.

well, wanted to rent a boat but they want a fortune to rent one. I found a place online to rent a basstracker style boat for the day for $85.00. when I called about it they said that was only good for spring and fall. it did not stat that fact online so it was going to cost me $100.00 for 4 hours. that isn't happening ! fished from dock in a cove. no bass to be found but did catch 8 bluegill and 2 channel cats but nothing big. had a great time anyway. got a room at a small resort for $72.00 a night that had a nice swimming pool and a hot tub and also a game room. would have loved to get out on the lake but I feel they just wanted too much money to rent boats but I don't think its any different there or here as far as cost. Im going back again sometime and taking my own boat. later,jc
