ohio river trip

I am planning a trip to the falls of the ohio to go fishing haven't been down there forever. What would be the best fish to target of lure to use when im down there thanks happy fishing

The Ohio River is over 20ft with a lot of current!!!! Plus it's muddy! Save the trip and gas money for another day.

I too am interested in fishing at the falls, way there last week, did not fish, but the waster was muddy and moving !

As others have said, the lower river is still too high and the current too fast. Just go to area of your house, barn,garage etc. where you keep your tackle. Practice tying on some hooks and sorting out your tackle box. If you're anything like me, that'll at least take a small edge off the "I WANT TO GO FISHING!!!" disease.

As if...it don't help, but we do need to keep our gear in shape!
Just yesterday I cleaned all my rods. Magic Erasers really make the cork look new again. I need to clean and grease my reels next.

I am always "playing" with my fishing stuff!
