I've only fished with this carrot wild rod twice and I set the hook and it snapped in two places. I've looked online but can't find a contact for carrot rods. I got it as a Father's Day gift from bass pro. Do I take it back to them or what? Thanks for all the help.
If you have a receipt, BPS will more than likely honor the warranty over the counter.I've only fished with this carrot wild rod twice and I set the hook and it snapped in two places. Maybe not though......they are getting really SHITTY about honoring warranties.
This is why you dont buy carrots. Posting on their facebook page has worked for some in the past.I've only fished with this carrot wild rod twice and I set the hook and it snapped in two places. First, Stop buying from bass pro. Buy local If at all possible. Second start buying shimano crucials. In my book they are the best rod for the money and A2o in Jeffersonville has a great selection.
There are tons and tons of problems with carrot sticks and skeet rods. I have done work on all of the major rods out there and I would say the best bang for the buck is the Veritas rods. If I was to buy a commercial rod this is what I would get. But, being I roll my own those are the best rods in the world hands down lol.![]()
The convergence rods are extremely good for the price too. Simply put, Shimano and G. Loomis are the only rods I will buy from now on because of the lifetime warranty. I am tired of these **** quantums breaking.
Im with you on that, I spend my money with small local shops, cost me a little more money, but these stores don't damage the economy like the big guys (walmart) the best vote you can cast is with your dollar, everybody pays attention.
Do a quick google search on the Carrot, and you'll see that many people are having issues with warranty stuff and E21. If they respond in a timely manner, I'll be surprised. If you are going to do a factory rod, make sure it's a company that is going to be around for a while, such as abu garcia, shimano, etc. Also, try to make sure it's over the counter warranty replacement, instead of mailing them in. Shipping can eat you up.

Wish I had a $1 for every time I heard of a carrot stick breaking.
Those rods are a joke. People laugh at me for this, but of all the rods I have currently and of all I have owned previously, an Abu Garcia Black Max combo is by far one of the best I ever had. I have had the 150.00 gloomis ans st. Croix rods and a little abuse just ruins them. My bmax combo had been put through the ringer and it continues to produce with authority. Those Abu Garcia Vendetta rods are good too for the $$$. All in all I think these big name fancy rods are just a lure to get peoples money.
Buy a G-Loomis!!I've only fished with this carrot wild rod twice and I set the hook and it snapped in two places. I've looked online but can't find a contact for carrot rods. I got it as a Father's Day gift from bass pro. Do I take it back to them or what? Thanks for all the help.
