Barren River Lake?

Anybody been to Barren lately?

Fished 6 hrs Friday had several small fish,only 4 15 inch keepers biggest ones were about 2.5 lbs ea. Could not get anything

out deep,everything was up in the dead weeds. I don't know if them shutting the water off had anything to do with it but that was our luck.

It just that time of year when they are either extremely shallow or out suspended over deep water in the Thermocline. At least that is my guess. I usually put my boat up July through September and get out the golf clubs. Don't like to mess with the weekend crowds.
