Mercury/boat service referral needed S. Central KY

I am looking for recommendation's for a good, dependable and trustworthy place to take my boat in for regular servicing, or if need be any future repairs. I purchased my boat from an out of state dealer that is just too far to use for servicing.

They need to be within driving distance of Bowling Green, and an authorized Mercury Engine dealer.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. Actually finding some isn't really a problem, I was hoping for recommendations from fellow fisherman of which they have used and would recommend their work. Or even if someone wanted to pm me about who to avoid, if they have had bad experiences.

I always like first hand referrals if I can get them.

Renegade is where I go. I drive 85 miles one way to get there. Never had a problem.

When I had a mercury I took it to Darryl Birge in Scotsville. He isn't far from Walnut Creek.

    Mercury Service

Danny, at Marine Works listed as Harrodsburg Ky, this is actually at Herrington Lake the Pandora boat ramp. He has done great work for me, the only thing bad that I can say is that he stays covered up.

Allboats Marine - (606) 561-6331 has a mechanic names Whitney Dunbar that is flat out the very best Mercury wrench in the area. He services my twin 225 saltwater opti max outboards and they hum like the Mormon Tabernacle choir!!

His reputation and training is what brought me to him and I have never been disappointed.

Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate it.

Does anyone know anything about either 31-E Marine, or Mark Miller Marine ?

Take it to Jeff at 31-E Marine. Its where most of the guys that fish Barren take their sleds. He is the best within short driving distance of BG.

They do work on my Yamaha. Take a boat cover if you are particular about your boat being out in the weather. They don't keep them indoors while they are waiting to get to them.

They have been helpful and work with me on getting used parts when available but at times I am not crazy about their prices.

You can pm me if you want more info in that regard.
