LAKE SINCLAIR IS DOWN 1.4 STAINED 80S

Bass fishing is fair. Fishing docks and boat houses is still mighty tough. The best chance for success is by using small and lightweight soft plastics fished slowly. Rip rap and bridge supports continue to produce a few fish. There are a few fish are still hitting top water baits during early morning the first hour after daybreak. Poppers and prop baits like Pop R’s, Chug Bug’s, and Tiny Torpedo’s have been the best recently. Deep water fishing is tough. Humps, points and ledges are still holding respectable numbers of fish. Depths are mostly 15 to 25 feet down the lake 12 to 18 feet in the central lake, and 5 to 12 feet way up the rivers. Crank baits and Carolina rigs are the baits of choice. Some good crank baits are DD14, DD22, and Fat Free Shad in ½ & ¾ ounces (#6 & #7). Chartreuse and shad combinations continue to be good color choices. Zoom Finesse and Trick worms are good choices for the Carolina rig. Green pumpkin and green pumpkin red are fair. Lightweight Texas rigs and the Weedless Wonder heads are more consistent.

Here is a GPS sample of the Bass fishing locations we have for sale. 33 09 373 83 13 053 at the mouth of Island Creek there are several danger markers on a hump right in the mouth. Then another hump is marked with two buoys just past the first one. On the second one a ridge runs off the hump toward the mouth of the creek and it has rocks on it. Idle around and there are big rocks that will show up on the Lowrance on the electronics with bass holding on them. The rocks are in 30 to 40 feet of water. Fish with a drop shot worm around the rocks.
