LAKE GEORGE IS DOWN ONE FOOT, MID 70’S

Bass are shallow and trick worms and medium dark tubes are the best bets around the grass beds as the fish are still very shallow. Go to the clear waters in the very backs of the creeks. Red 1/4 ounce Rat L traps will also work later in the day. Zoom lizards in dark colors are fair and add some scent and dye the tails. Pick up the Alabama rig with small Zoom fluke pearl trailers and work the shallows all day. Zara Spooks, Pop R’s and similar loud top baits will also work. Always try a buzz bait and spinner bait anywhere on the lake or in the creeks. Expect to see shallow fish on the beds all over the lake and even up river in the coves and cuts.
