The bottom fishing has certainly gotten better and better! And now that grouper season is open the fish bite has turned on.

Captain Frank Gibson’s Big Bull Dolphin! It was certainly a blue water game changer!!

And it seems that most of the larger Mahi Mahi like the one that Captain Frank is holding have been caught north and east of the Deli Ledge!

Captain Frank Gibson of Beaufort South Carolina knows how to find fish and then catch them! And this is not all the fish that his blue water fishing team caught. The fact of the matter is according to Captain Frank’s fishing report there wasn’t any more room in the cooler! So I guess you could say, “They caught all that their cooler could hold, and then they took a leisurely ride back to the dock, while getting ready to clean lots of fish!” T

Captain John White, Rob Bragg, Buddy Powell, and Daily Glenn went blue fishing and then it turned into a whole lot of catching! While working 180 to 600 feet of water they caught this dock load of fish. (see picture below) According to this report the team worked the South Ledge and then ended back at the Triple Ledge. However, Captain John learned later that the bulk of the larger Mahi Mahi were caught at the Deli ledge, to the north, and to the east of this area.
