We're fishing for whatever is biting best and some days it's the White Bass and everyday the Catfish are on a good bite! The Whites never seem to be in the same locations very long with most being caught on RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) on Main Lake Points and Drop Offs in 20' of water or less. There's been very little Top Water activity this Summer with brief flurries being reported the last hour or so of daylight some days.
The Blue Cats are EVERYWHERE as the Slot Limit (30" to 45" fish have to be returned to the Lake) that has been in place about seven years has really raised the amount of fish in the Lake! We're catching the Blues on the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake anywhere you find a bend in the creek and timber nearby. Most days we're fishing in water depths of 25' to 30' and using Danny Kings Punch Bait on a #4 Treble Hook. Summer Catfish are smaller "Eaters" but as the weather cools we'll begin to catch bigger fish!
If you' would like to get in on the late Summer action, give us a call or email and Let's Go Fishin'! Also, check us out on the web @ www.gonefishin.biz .
