Spring Break in Texas this year was a little different with many of the East Texas Schools being on Break the week of March 7th, and the major Market Schools (Like DFW and Houston) being out the week of March 14th. The second week was definitely a better time to be out and about as the Lake Area had almost ten (10) inches of rain from March 7th thru the 11th, and we cancelled every fishing trip we had scheduled that week. The weather improved dramatically the second week and we were able to fish the first five days of the week before once again having to cancel trips on Saturday due to strong Winds. Here's hoping that as you are reading this Report that we're back into Sunny, Warm March days!

The White Bass are just now making their return to the Main Lake. We should soon be seeing huge Schools and everyone will be catching just like last Spring. On Thursday and Friday, we had 50 fish ice chests of White Bass for the first time in a long time! (See Pics) Get those Slabs, Rat-L-Traps and Sassy Shads ready!!!



We'll also keep on catching Channel and Blue Catfish! We have been fishing the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake most days in timbered areas and using Danny Kings Punch Bait to catch "Eater" size Catfish. Water depths ranging from 20'-30' has been where we find most of our fish, but the Cats should be moving shallower as the weather and water warms.



April and May are two of the BEST months of the year to catch quantities of fish....Catfish, Whites, Crappie and Hybrids will all be on a feeding frenzy! Give us a call and Let's Go Catchin'!
