The calendar says it's the "Middle of Summer". My internal calendar says it's time to "Get the Kids and Grandkids on the Lake"! The School District's calendar says it's "Almost Time for School to Start". Where did the time go? It seems like just a few days ago Kids were let out for Summer Break and our phones were ringing off the wall with requests for Fishing Trips! Don't panic if you didn't get your annual Family Fishing Trip in this Summer as there's still a few days before School starts and a few weeks before most Colleges are back in session. And the good news from Adam and I is that WE HAVE LOTS OF WEEKDAY OPENINGS AND EVEN AN AUGUST SATURDAY OR TWO WITH A BOAT AVAILABLE!

White Bass action has been steady almost all Spring and Summer and we have even conducted a couple of Catfish trips in the past two weeks. The early mornings are pleasant with a good breeze from the South and then we're off the Lake by around 11AM , clean your fish and you are back under the AC by Noon! We're still finding most of the fish up the Main Creek Channels and on Points and Humps in 10-20 feet of water. We're also still catching them "two at a time" by tying a small Crappie Jig above the RSR Silver Slab. Loads of FUN to hear the screams of excitement when one of our 10 year old Customers brings in a Double!

It's been a great first half of 2016 and WE THANK ALL OUR CUSTOMERS FOR MAKING IT SO!
