The walleye bite on Dale remains good. Water surface temps are around 80, which is cool for this time of year. The eyes are 31 to 33 foot deep. Pulling worm harnesses, spoons or crank baits is putting them in the boat.
Despite you might read in other places, it is a well-established fact scientifically that through the summer and early fall months that, although a few Walleye can be caught at night, the best bite for not only trophy class walleye but numbers too, is during the day. People that tell you otherwise just can’t catch them during day.
