Walleye fishing on Dale remains good by day and fair at night. Surface temps around 78. Pulling worm harnesses, spoons and cranks are all effective for putting them in the boat. At night, jigging spoons does the job. The eyes are 32 to 34 ft deep.
Despite what you might read in other places, it is a well-established fact scientifically that through the summer and early fall months that, although a few Walleye can be caught at night, the best bite for not only trophy class walleye but numbers too, is during the day. People that tell you otherwise just can’t catch them during day.
