grass on KY lake

I haven't been south of the 68 bridge this year and I haven't found any grass north so I am wondering how far south you have to go to find grass beds? I have read reports on grass down around and south of Paris but is there any grass in the blood river section of the lake?

I fished the blood river last week and didn't see any grass. We didn't look everywhere but if it's there, it's sparse.
