Thank You to all who voted for Obama

So now the obamacare nightmare has hit me on a personal level and the future of my healthcare plans are uncertain. We have been told that we can keep our company paid employee insurance if the company chooses to pay a 100% premium increase!!!! Anyone wanna guess what they are going to do??? Well they are not going to pay that grossly overpriced premium so we are looking into the Kentucky Healthcare Exchange. Guess what?? They cannot tell us exactly what our plans cover when compared to our present plans. Questions seem to overwhelm them so as a company we are trying to make decisions based on inadequate info and promises. Wait...isn't that how we got into this mess???

How does raping small companies and middle class folks help out?? What was this grand scheme supposed to fix again??? My insurance was awesome. High deductible plan with an HSA. This made me take the approach of planning my healthcare costs and taking preventative measures to assist me in proper healthcare. I didn't waste trips to the doc because I had to pay extra for that.

Of course another option is we scrap our present contract and renew the same exact plan for an 11% premium increase but that's not all roses either. Folks like me who have met their high deductible will have to start over and lose a month of coverage from our old plan. That really sukks if you had an MRI or some other procedure planned!!!
Anyone here ever read that if you are on the gubment exchange insurance and go out of state you not insured for any life threatening issues??? Car accident or what have you...anyone hear or read that??? That popped up in a meeting today.

I will say this if you voted for this idiot I truly hope your happy with yourself. Is this the hope and change you voted for??? This isn't good and I hope and pray you get skrewed by him and your party some how and some way!!!!

I am right there with you on all levels. I work for a small company with a high deductible plan and an HSA.

I fully expect early next year when we're up for renewals that we will be going to the exchange as well.

My assumption when that happens is that we won't be able to do the high deductible plans (which are the most fiscally responsible) and I'll end up paying all kinds of money every year on premiums that I don't have to pay now because I'm relatively healthy. I put the difference in my HSA to cover when something happens that is more serious. I believe those types of plans are now illegal and that's why they're being cancelled.

This law was a a criminal act in my opinion.

In reality, it's not just Obama. It's every one who voted for it. It's also the media who equate health CARE with health INSURANCE. They are not the same thing, folks.

Anyone who truly thought they could use more insurance to solve a problem that was created and perpetuated by insurance was incredibly stupid and I've been saying that from day 1. Worse, I think a lot of people knew they couldn't solve it by forcing more insurance but went along because that's the way their bread is buttered.

Hard to believe so many people were stupid enough to truly believe insurance costs were going to go down under a government controlled system. I personally feel there are so many people looking for free government money and benefits, the Dimocrats can get away with pretty much anything.
