I would expect it to be very stained and around 53. The bass fishing will probably be slow. I went last weekend and it was stained and 56. I caught quite a few nice bass on main lake areas around the dam. If you go post here because I can't go and I'm curious if they're still biting.
Thanks. We're going regardless. We are going there to scout some places to deer hunt and after that we're gonna fish. We're gonna try for some crappie first but if that fails I'll pull out the bass rods. I'm expecting it to be muddy so I'm not to hopeful on the fishing.
I hit Taylorsville today and only landed 3 bass 12-13" and lost two others one of which was about 3LBs. All were in the very backs of the creeks on a slow rolled spinnerbait. Water was around 55 and some color to it, but not bad.
Went yesterday and only got to fish for a few hours. Landed 8 slabs and lost a few more. We could've really put a hurting on them if the wind wasn't as bad. The water had great color (slightly stained) and the water temp for me was 48-49 but I don't know how accurate my temp gauge is.
