depth finder question

I bought a new to me boat over christmas break. It has a hummingbird wide optic depth finder. I have no idea of the age or should i upgrade to newer finder. Found the owners manual on the internet but could not find out any information about it. I suspect it is from the 90s it is a 1986 gruman 16 foot bass boat.

This guy says it's from the late nineties, which sounds about right.

Yep...it's an old one. I had one about 10-12 years ago. Technology is way better now.
