Did you read the comments on that utube video? Good looking fish but ugly people.

I did ... and I'm not surprised at it. What galls me is Youtube will censor the video content (especially song lyrics) yet will allow anyone posting a comment to say anything they please. Seems to be a bit of a double standard working there .. don't ya think !!
I did see our own Penny Hopper with her 4lb 14oz Hybrid Crappie, pictured among the others. But, I have some doubts about some of the other pictures, seeing as how they don't list the angler's name, weight of the fish, or state/year caught.
And while some people do pronounce the fish's name as crap-E .... it's not spelled "crappy" (that's a condition, not a species) LOL

Some of those fish are definite slabs. Some of the rest are good fish held out really far in front of the body.
Did you read the comments on that utube video? Good looking fish but ugly people.
No, I didn't read any comments, and still haven't. sorry if they are bad. just ran across the pictures of the slab size crappy and shared them.

... pappy
thanks for the grammar lesson, sorry for misspelling the name. I'm glad I put pictures with the post, so any southern guys could figure out what species of fish those slabs were.

No blood, no foul.
It was stated in a joking manner, not meaning any disrespect. (that's why the "LOL" is there)
I'm one of those "southern guys" that pronounces it both ways, interchangeably ... either "crap-E" or "crop-E".

Thanks for posting these pictures. I enjoyed looking at them. I just thought the first comment was funny! It reminded me of some people that I know or knew. Funny stuff there and entertaining to me. Those are some nice CRAPPIE.
BTW: I pronounce it as CROP-PEE not CRAP-PEE. I spell it right and pronounce it correctly for Southern IN folks. E
CRAP PEE is how I feel some days. LOL
