I fished Fri and Sat both of which were extremely windy , where I felt that I needed to be fishing I couldn't I was mentally beat.Any suggestions on how to combat the wind would be appreciated. I'm wondering what I should have done different.

Fish different places.
When the wind is BRUTAL, and I cannot get out on main lake stuff, it is too dangerous for me.
Now, if I'm in a big bay, and the wind is brutal, I nose into it, and FISH LIKE HELL :) .
It was impossible to fish anything but a crank a few weeks ago, so that is what I fished, and I fished it a lot.
Later,
Geo
If the wind is from the north or south fish north end of Barkley as it runs east and west. You can trailer your boat to most creeks and bays and not have to travel main lake.
