really depends on what you are looking to catch , have always had a good time throwing a 4 inch smoke grub , it catches a little bit of everything , suspending jerkbaits catch some on windy days also. I always start around 76 falls and work my way out , have a good time and good luck.
From the way it sounds lately all the bass have went through the dam and have found their way to Dale Hollow, lol....
Thanks I am gonna be fishing for bass sorry I should have mentioned that earlier .

It really has been super slow on the bass lately from what I am hearing. A major shad kill occurred down there and the water temps are still very cold. Some bass are being caught on the usual early spring stuff, jerkbaits, Alabama rigs, square billed cranks and jigs.
Normally by this time of year I have been down a couple of times and have something going but this is heresay I am giving you from peeps in the know down there.
Good luck if you go...but it has been crazy slow so far, maybe it will turn around soon, I hope...
