Yep started last year and we are going to have more of the same thats why the brainiacs that push this agenda now call it ''Climate change'' which will cover any and all weather habits that may arise.
Climate change and Global warming was created to push Green agenda plain and simple.

i agree they have finally found a phrase that cannot be disputed. I read some of those article from George's link and it's so interesting how years ago they were worried about the cold and predicted another ice age.
So a climatologist can predict the future based on the past? Man that's pretty amazing when you consider how wrong they have been but this is different!?!?!?
Our newest most technically advanced tools can predict storms and severe weather but when some knucklehead wants to name a special interest group they can't discuss the new name to get a good descriptive name and get it right the first time??? Think about it.....someone wants to call their new cause global warming but that wasn't taking the terrible winters into consideration.....so to save face they change the name. Geez......the confusion, lies, billions spent, manipulation of data, admitted guilty parties data and the split of "scientists" who actually support or deny this cause should be proof enough of the weak argument about global warming. It stinks of to much gubment involvement and special interest groups buying their support from the politician of their choice.
Yep
Climate changes.
It was changing billions of years before we got here and will be changing billions of years after we're gone.
I suspect that in reality, there's little that humankind can do to affect it.

I don't think the point is to really change it. The point is that things are changing so humans better be prepared for those changes. Things like coastal areas being under water. Where do those people move too? Some areas becoming wetter, others drier. What affect does that have on various plants and animals that we depend on for food? What are the sociopolitical impacts of these changes? Those types of things. You are certainly correct that there have been such changes in the past and there will be such changes long after humans are gone. We know from studying the past that climate change has played a role in various civilizations coming to an end. We can sit back and do nothing and go the same route, or we can learn from past mistakes.

You're exactly right. There has been at least five ice age cycles in earth's history. The peak of the last cycle was approx. 22,000 years ago at which time the artic ice sheets covered approx. two thirds of the U.S. It's been warming up ever since.
