I'll bet you're pumped. That's a very early trip, too. Might be some cold nights....especially this year. I think they're still getting snow.
I'd like to get back to the BWCA/Quetico again sometime.

WE will be watching the ice out very , very closely. Right now, most major lakes still have 10-15 inches of ice, but it is going out really fast.
I know you're going a little bit further north, but onemorecast56 in Wisconsin said the lakes around him have ice out.

Excellent work George. Man 3-4 miles a day for 3 weeks is a dang good routine. If your eating well at the same time your gonna drop some weight and be a lean mean fishing machine!
I could feel my legs burning watching you on those steps! :)

Hahaha! Heck by week two he will have to do push ups to get his heart rate up! That's a great workout schedule he has there. :)

I'm doing it with a 30lb pack. It sure beat the HELL out of me :)
