I don't fish for crappie but I've fish for bass there a few times and never caught a thing. I had one hit one a rat l trap and it was a small hit. Maybe it's just me , but I'll never be back there. If you do go there is a five dollar launch fee and if someone isn't there to collect it put it in a envelop and write your license plate number on it and the color and make of your vehicle. The douche that owns it will tow your truck if you don't.
I was just there this past Saturday I caught 4 bass and lost one that would have been a keeper they are fixn to go in the nest all mine I caught was bout 12 feet off the bank and on the bottom they wasn't keepers but they were fun to catch carnico is a super clear lake after all the rain last week it had bout 3 feet of visibility I was using a tube and dragging it on the bottom but they say spinnerbaits and cranks work good too water temp was round 62 on sat hope this helps good luck
I appreciate the information you all but i dont do clear water very well im more the dingy dirty or flat out green water kinda guy
I've caught a few fish there in the past. It's really just a good place to practice casting though. Be sure you take exact change for the ramp fee.
