Here is pic of my 6 year old and a Bass that he pulled in, i kinda hooked it but let him fight it in and he finally got it in........didnt get weight or measure, wasnt that big, and no jokes on how im holding the fish, was trying to show my son easiest way to get use too it lol.
Congrats to him! And you! Looks like another little one hooked on fishing! I did the same with my oldest daughter and in what seemed like no time she was casting a spinning reel on a 6-1/2 spinning rod and doing it all herself.
It's awesome your taking him fishing because not all men will or can't. When I would take my daughter to a local park to fish we would have a crowd of kids around us asking what we were doing and they wanted to play with the worms or touch the fish when she caught one. Kinda sad these kids didn't have their Fathers show them how to fish....keep up the good work!
Thanks alot, yeah he caught that one with a little Dock Demon rod from walmart and now he uses a push button that ive had for awhile, but like most kids, he gets impatient if nothings biting right away.
congrats to the little fisherman :-) he will remember that for a long time to come :-)
