Lmfao i see you have experience in the matter
Get all your gear and boat set up for striper fishing, tell everybody your going striper fishing, then pull shiners on planer boards and catch a ton of catfish!!! That seems to work the best for me....SSSHHHH!!! our secret!!!
But don't worry, I put them all back, cats just taste muddy to me, I will never kill another again...Promise!
Give me a big old hump headed bluegill and I'm good!
Rob
I have heard but don't know for sure that there is a spot up in Indian creek called 76falls were you can put your noodle out at night and catch something.

I'd say that's pretty much a given. If you try to catch something it's there to catch.

It works real good with alewives too. But they cant fool me any more. When your planner board keeps bobbing under water and popping back up don't feed out more line. Next time I will try cranking in some line to see if the catfish will leave it alone. ..if i can remember.
peter, i will bet you breakfast at the marina that the instant a board even quivers you race to the back of the boat and do whatever you can to hook that fish!!! you are too much like me....never waste an opportunity to fight a fish of any flavor:D
