Do you want to jump onboard?
As one ages our exercise routine generally slows down. I’ve finally decided that I don’t or won’t jump.
I don’t “jump” out of bed. Why would one do that? That act would assume that one stands in bed and then jumps to the floor. I prefer to sit up, rotate my lower body, and place my feet on the floor.
“I’m going to jump in the shower.” I don’t “jump” in the shower either. That act is very unsafe due to the slipperiness of the combination of soap and water on the shower floor.
I can’t remember the last time I “jumped” for joy. Again, an unnecessary act.
I do, however occasionally jump to conclusions. This does not require any actual physical activity.
