Barkley Help
All,
Will be in the area this weekend as my son is playing baseball in Calvert City and would live to wet a line if I can. Only problem is I will be without a boat. Are there any places I could bass fish from the bank and catch a few green fish. Haven't been on the lake in 3 years and gate to not wet a line with so much down time. Kuttawa will be the closest area to where I'm staying but can drive around if needed.
Thanks

I wonder if there are any of the folks here that are local to that area that would be willing to take ya out. I've met a few folks down there and went fishing from the board.
That would be WAY cool. :)

Open Seat
Definitely wouldn't pass up an open seat. Not on Barkley....ever!

Hop across the lake and fish one of the many ponds inside LBL.
A couple of years ago, I did some wade fishing around the edge of Energy lake and caught several bass.

Is it shallow enough to safely wade around the banks everywhere at energy lake? Love to wade fish as we hit the streams a lot back here.
Thanks

I don't know about everywhere, but it was shallow and rocky around the dam area (past the actual dam). That is where I was fishing.
