My first boat!
Just thought I would share with you guys! Got it a couple weeks back with my grandfather and hadn't had a chance to post any pictures. It's a 1992 Nitro 190DC with a evinrude 150 on the back! Really have enjoyed the boat so far. Will be putting a new lowrance on it this weekend hopefully! Hope to see some of you guys out on the water soon!

I've always heard that a boat is a big hole in the water that you throw money into and some people have said that the two happiest days of their lives is the day they buy a boat and they day they sell it. In all seriousness though, congrats on getting the boat Drew1233.

Congrats Drew and have fun bro. Got my first boat 36 years ago with my Dad's help and I was 15 years old. I owned a boat before I owned a car and my parents thought I was weird. We kept it floating at our dock on Guist creek lake so no hauling required. We had a camping trailer there for 17 years before new management run us off. I was getting older then and girls, beer, running and well girls had me going in another direction.
It was a Terry bass boat with two of the old Captain type chairs with arm rests. Foot control trolling motor, a 65 Rude on the back, man I thought I was big business, LOL.
Good luck with your new boat and thanks for making me go back in my mind, good times with out a care in the world....

I started as dang near a baby in a 10 foot Jon boat and scuddled that sucker everywhere. Right arm was alot bigger than the left due to all that scuddling, lol. Finally got a Shakespeare tiller trolling motor and was living large.
Would leave at before dark thirty and not come back till dark sometimes and Mom would fuss up a storm as I was basically a child. Sometimes she would send our neighbors out looking for me, Guist is not very big, lol. I would get in trouble because she didn't want that and I wouldn't do it again for awhile but it happened a lot. Dad just grinned at me while she fussed.
If there is a sport better than fishing on this planet I have no idea what it is......:)

Way to go Drew, I'm happy and sad for you at the same time LOL. I still have my first boat,a 14ft alum. V got it from my grandfather backin 79 or so. Heck up until a couple years ago I still fished out of it. If that boat could talk....I've got a feeling one day i'll be back in that boat and my wallet will be a little fatter leaving the gas station :)
