Southern Kentucky did not get near the rain we got up in northern Kentucky and through the central bluegrass region. However it has rained down there several times this week and my gut says mid lake towards the east end will have some color getting more so the more east you go. I think if you put in at Halcombs at the dam and stay on the far west end you will be fine.
Just checked their local rainfall over the last 24 hours on Kymesonet and they got half or less than what we got up here. Michael check the elevation on the ACOE site and lakecumberland.com as double check but I think you will be ok.
I also would like to know conditions around Pittman Crk
Thanks for the information, Mark. I appreciate it.
I was there Tuesday (in the rain) put in at Conley bottom and fished main lake in that area and up in Faubush. Faubush was muddy from 3/4 to the back with about 100 yards or so from the muddy water towards main lake being tea colored. Closer I got to the main lake the more it cleared up, where visibility was about 5-6ft. Water was 55 at the surface. Good luck!
Thanks for the reply

It was indeed clear on the lower end. We barely had a bite in several hours fishing, though.

You have a pm coming
I fished Cumberland Sunday 12/7 and Monday 12/8 and put in at Pumpkin Creek both days. The water in the Pumpkin, Clifty, Greasy Creek and the main lake was very clear. I talked to a friend of mine on the water Sunday and he said the water up at Connelly Bottom was pretty much the same. The water temp was consistently 52 degrees.
Caught a few short fish on Sunday but then had three keepers on Monday. Two keepers (16.5 and 17.5 inches) were largemouth, the other was 20 inch smallmouth at 3.8lbs. Boated a lot of fish on Monday between 12 and 14.5 inches.
