Venison/vegetable soup
Mrs.Tyme has a pot full of venison/vegetable soup on the stove. I asked her, "Why do we call it vegetable soup when we always add meat to it?" I remember many years ago when a friend stopped over and Mrs.Tyme served us some soup with about 2 grams of meat in it. That was about the closest she's ever came to a true vegetable soup. I was like the old lady in the commercial, "Where's the beef?'
I just gots to have me some meat in my soup!!

Are you ready to start skinning, cutting and packaging whole deer yet? Let me know when you get there and if you want a whole deer.

Mark,this is from the deer my neighbor shot. Shot,gutted,dragged out of the woods, hung in his garage and skinned before he called me over. I only assisted in cutting off the back straps and then quartering it.
Of course, once at my house it was up to Mrs.Tyme and I to cut up the quarters and package and freeze.
We saw a "whole" deer by the side of the road on our return from grocery shopping this evening. I wonder how fresh the kill was??
