That doesn't sound like a bad day...
As for me, I got to see my 3 year old's face light up when she got to the bottom of the stairs and saw the few things that Santa brought. (We don't go overboard with gifts like a lot of folks do. She got a handful of neat little presents, but we practice a bit of moderation at Christmas, because it should be about more than just getting a big pile of stuff.)
That was all I really needed. As long as she's smiling, Dad's content.
Merry Christmas, Gorski!

I got a sock with a lump of coal in it! :p I think Ole Waterdog pulled a fast one on me!
Naw seriously sounds like you did alright Kygorski. The older I get the more I can appreciate what your saying.....I really can.
My little one is in Florida with her momma visiting family and me and my older daughter stayed here to hold the fort down and tend to the dogs. We spent the day taking it easy and cooking ribs and shrimp. Took Maxx to the fishing club and let him pee on every tree there. We also went and had a test drive with a Nissan Sentra since we are looking for my daughters first car........have a few more test drives lined up in a few days.
As far as gifts go....I usually just buy what I want so I ask that no one gets me anything. I recently purchased a few pistols (I'm a Glock fan) and tore them down to bare bones......as far as you can take them and then rebuilt them with the parts I bought to pimp em out. I really had a good day with my oldest daughter...we just hung out and that was good enough.

I got a couple things, one was a Cabelas gift card, which means I'll probably buy more fishing lures I don't need.
