cedar creek report 1/19
Well I finally got a break in the weather to hit up cedar creek. Got on the water at 9 left the middle ramp and hit the main lake only to find myself in a ice field. The ice was thin but there was quite a bit of it. Fished the main lake with no luck finally headed up in a cover where my buddy caught the only fish of the day a 15 inch dink on a crank. Idk if it was just us or if anyone else was having any luck. Also I witnessed one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile a Amish bugging pulling a small plastic boat attached to the buggy. Idk if I'll be making another trip for awhile at least until I do a little more research on winter fishing. Good luck to you fellers.

At least you got out. I am temporarily boatless until my house sells.

The Amish guy in the buggy is a guy that lives close to there and the boat is a Hobie Outback Kayak!

I assume those sorry ******** don't have to buy fishing license or trapping license. I'm pretty sure that he was checking traps. Didn't see any rods or sticks or corn cob floaters lol

You would assume wrong, as far as I know the KY Dept. of Fish and Wildlife do not offer religious exemptions to their hunting/fishing/trapping laws. Unless you are a Native American on a reservation.

You right the KY Dept of fish wildlife do not but the State Of Kentucky does. Just ask the CO at Cedar,he told me he has written them up for no license, over limit, under limit, pouching of deer and small game and birds. Show up in court just to have the judge throw it out based on there religious beliefs. He told me it make him so da-- mad he can't stand it.

Wormin is right and it pis ses me off! Amish keep and eat everything and I do mean everything they catch. They don't play by the same set of rules that we do and they flat don't care. I deal with them here at work selling trusses to them and they are pieces of work....that is he four letter word I will use not to use the one that I want to that starts with S.
I am NOT a Amish fan AT ALL!

They also get crap tons of other breaks to including some insane tax loop holes......Its a JOKE
-
Yea no joke. They don't pay any property tax on there house because they rotate every Sunday to a different house for church. Just to keep from paying taxes. A guy on the road department was looking at a bridge that was built a few years back and it was in really bad shape. A horse can shake the craps out of a bridge. If u don't believe stand on a bridge when the Amish cross it. They destroy black top. And they don't have to pay road tax. Yeap around here in bath county we aren't fans either.
