If the bill passes by simple majority (218 of 435), the bill moves to the Senate. The bill passed the House on a 239-186 vote.
Yea, the Prez said he'd veto it, but you know what. Lets see what happens in the SENATE, because it WILL get a vote there, unlike when Dirty Harry was the senate majority leader.
And just who was stonewalling for the past 6 years???
Later,
Geo

Stone walling solves no problems..[/QUOTE] why would you think they will work together, it's the same bunch that have been doing nothing for the last 6 years, remember when everything had fallen apart under jr. and Obama was elected, the first thing McConnell said, with no thought or worry about our country, just thinking about an election, he said his number one priority was to make sure Obama was a one term President. and did he ever fell at his number one priority, Obama was elected for the second term, by more votes than any American President in History. so I don't look for old Mitch to do anything that America can benefit from, for fear that Obama could benefit.

Dinosaurs like McConnell have no objective outside of re-election and the right screams term limits as loudly as anybody and keep voting him into office... I'm guessing two more years of stone walling with only noise to let you know they are still there...
Other than executive orders there will be nothing done by this leadership...

Our country deserves more out of these goofballs than political posturing..

As long as you're including that washed up hag Pelosi, and Dirty Harry.....otherwise, it is just lip service.

I think your dislike for Mitch taints your opinion on him doing something for this country. I am holding out hope that some of these guys are getting a clue that people are fed up. We have seen shakeups on both parties with elections so I am holding out some hope that things will change even if its just a little.
Did I vote for him yes once he was in the race against that idiot woman I had no choice. Prior to that I didn't vote for him. I won't toss my vote to a person like Grimes who is basically a bad liar with a pulse and a vote for another obama stooge. Your party spent millions to spread lies and even used the liberal tactics they are so good at but they failed miserably. that speaks alot about what I am saying here....we all had no choice. Grimes appeared lost, shallow and down right ignorant on how to present herself. Nothing about her oozed leader or spokesperson.
You see if she would have been voted in what would we have gained? Just another nail in the coffin for the death of our country. She would fall in the shadow of obama and do whatever he said. Sometimes we vote for the lessor of two evils and I hate that. I wish we had more choices.
I wish we had more choices also... I haven't voted for somebody since Bill Clinton, I have instead voted against somebody, one of those being Romney... another being Gore...

Things fell apart under jr. His last two years when the dems took control of congress and the do nothing congress is Reid stoping everything not even allowing a vote because he knew the republican house bills would cause problems for his democrats and the president if they ever came up for a vote. Second we would have been much better of if Obama would have been a one term no make that if he would have never been elected.
