One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
Nice vids Geo. My wife and I went on our ten year wedding anniversary. I don't want to hijack, but have to tell the story about how we hiked to a supposedly "remote" waterfall. The terrain was rough, but after several thousand feet we got to the picturesque waterfall. It was at that moment I decided to go for it all on first down. I decided to go skinny dipping and see if I could score some hanky panky with the wife. So I'm naked in about 0.23 milliseconds and she finally gets stripped down. We get in the pool, I turned to look st something and next thing I know my wife slips and bangs her knee HARD on a rock. So there she is, laid out spread eagle with a very mangled looking knee. I thought oh sh*t it's broken there's no possible way I'll be able to carry her out of there. Then I hear people hiking up - in about 5-7 minutes we're going to have company. I put my clothes on faster than they came off. Now I'm thinking oh sh*t they're going to see this naked woman laying there writhing in pain and think I'm some kind of serial rapist. Short story long I get her clothed JUST as the couple comes into view. So we sat there for about 30 minutes and the damage wasn't as bad as I initially thought thank goodness. She hobbled out of there with assistance. When we finally got to the car I looked at her and asked, "so what were the chances that we would've had sex in the waterfall had you not slipped?". She said "75%". Talk about a kick to the nuts I was that close......

We found some really need places , especially on the "big island", that were all to ourselves, but on Oahu, and Maui, hang it up..........those places were crazy busy.
My wife and I called Oahu.......Chicago with Palm Trees. It was very busy. Of course we were there for Valentines Day and that probably was a big part of it.
I should also say that on Oahu, I'm SURE they were shooting a porno or something, based on the sounds coming from the room next to us :) :) . My wife said she never heard it, but she must be deaf.
Those walls are definitely thin........I wanted to yell way to go after round 3...... :) :)
We went to Maui and didn't visit any other islands. We went in December 2011 and didn't feel it was overly crowded/busy. I wouldn't say it was "remote" though. I was naive - everybody must've had the same dang tourist guidebook we did. Much like fishing, every "spot" belonged to someone long before we came along!
