I have a 21 ft 98 stratos
on the ratings plate on the boat it says motor-245hp I currently have a 225 Johnson is like to upgrade soon
my question is could you put a 250hp on my boat and who would I have to answer to if any questions was to come up? Would I get A ticket from game warden?

Probably you won't get a ticket, but you also won't get any insurance, and could be liable for any "issues" caused by that boat and motor....
That being said........I know a guy that had a gigantic motor on the back of a little bitty cajun :) :) .. It would SCREAM.....scary SCREAM.......

It wasnt even fast geo. 62 mph maybe if i was lucky. And yes it had insurance. It was only 25 hp over plate
