Kentucky lake conditions
What are the conditions like at Kentucky Lake after all of this rain?
Dave (or others) how do you expect this next weeks rain and potentially raising water will affect the bass? Will we see the bass move shallow or will they remain the the typical prespawn patterns of points, channel swings, etc

My last weekly report I put up on Friday here will give you the lake conditions. Expect the bass to be on prespawn for another week to 10 days depending on water temperatures....spawning is not predicated on rain or water levels. I would however expect some cruisers shallow checking out nesting areas...this is already happening and if the water temps warm up this week as I expect they will...should be more of this.

Thanks Dave! I read your post but I guess with my lack of experience I did not know the answer to the basics of largemouth behavior, specifically, if the prespawn females would move shallow with higher water to feed. However it appears after reading the TVA reports, the lake is not suspected to rise much-so maybe my question will be a none issue.
Did this last weeks rain on Friday affect the water clarity any?
Thanks again Dave for your response. Your reports have helped me out tremendously in the past.

We did not get as much rain here as fell in the Louisville and central Ky area late last week. I measured about 1 inch on my rain guage. The water clarity was same as in my last weekly report as of yesterday but we have rain showers today and rain in the forecast all this week so it could change...just have to wait and see how much we get and the folks up the rivers get.
