From what I've heard, they're trying to come into the banks ... so, for the next couple of weeks I would be looking for them in the creeks or around brush piles on the shallow part of flats in water depths of 15' or less. And the warmer it gets, without a whole lot of water level changes taking place, I'd continue to look for them around the banks in water depths of 8' or less.

Start with identifying where the state has placed structures in the lake. Visit the KY website for a listing. The lake was 4 feet high yesterday & still quite muddy. The fish were starting 2 weeks ago, no huge numbers, but then the rains came.
