Beaver Lake
Went to Beaver on Sunday. Water was muddy to murky, best visibility was about 6"to 8". We caught little bass but no keepers. Most fish caught on jigs with a couple coming on spinnerbaits. Water temps came up to 70 by the afternoon. Did see a few boats catching some bream and crappie.
Plenty of boats on the water. We just idled around every place we needed to go. Everyone but one boat was obeying the idle speed. Two guys in a boat with a 50hp motor almost on plane at one point.
Got checked by the game warden in a johnboat with a 10hp on it. I ask them what they would do if someone was caught breaking the law and going to fast. He said they would go to jail. The other GW said one click out of neutral is the legal idle.

Was the dock open and is there a ramp fee now. I should have asked you earlier but just thought of it now that I'm on vacation and trying to line up some nonflooded waters to fish.

I was there today. There isn't a launch fee. We caught a lot of short ones and no keepers.

The dock has been razed and no longer exists, no ramp fee.
