I want to fish this Saturday if water is not to high or muddy.
It's 27 feet above summer pool. No ramp will be accessible and there will be a ton of debris. I wouldn't even try.

It is an absolute mess. Drove over the dam tonight. Up 27 feet and muddy as I've ever seen it. No chance it's going to be fishable for a while. I hate it because that's where I fish but it's just a reality of a lake that only lowers two feet for winter pool and they aren't pulling water consistently because of the flooding downstream.
There's a possibility that possum ridge is open but honestly your best bet would be to find another lake. Barren and rough are only a few feet over summer pool. Brother in law was fishing a bass tournament on barren the other day and he said the hybrids were really active. Nolins probably a good shot as well
Thanks. I was going to head there sat or sun. Would have not have even checked water level
This was at Possum Ridge boat ramp a few days ago. The water has since come up a few feet and the clarity is about the same if not muddier. Courtesy dock would be quite a swim to reach and that light won't really play much of a factor in launching at night right now.
Thanks I think I will try Barren
Does anyone know of a good place to stay near Barren Lake?
