Took out a charter with Captain Hook fishing charters out of Port Clinton Ohio Sunday. We caught 107 in 7.5 hours, 103 were over 4 pounds. Biggest was 5.12. We had muliple doubles ,triples and one four fish on action. It was out of this world fishing,most fish were weighted
This was on Lake Erie on Canada side
I fished on erie a few years ago out of middle bass island and had similar results on a three day trip most of ours were 2 to 3 and a half pounds though, still a ton of fun and the only smallmouth fishin that I have done that competes is on dale hollow

Sounds like fun. How were you fishing? Trolling or casting?
Caugh them on a tube.
Did you stay close or go out near islands?

The only place I've experienced that was in Canada in Quetico. Lots and LOTS of fish over 3lbs and a few over 4.

All fish were catch and release, never saw a livewell,we had multiple2,3 ,and a 4 on action. 6 of us fishing(well 5 one stayed hung up on what I don't know)
I've had a few 100 bass days just like that, east of Port Clinton at Ruggles beach, man that's awesome!
north of Kellys island there is a small island just across the line called Middle Island, fish the south side of the gravel bar, . many hundred fish days
