In remembrance: Update
I rigged the Fenwick rod with a slip bobber for crappie and caught some nice ones.
Dad also had an older Berkley rod that I rigged up with a black Zoom trick worm rigged wacky style.
Caught this nice 20 inch small mouth off a bed right in onemorecast56's back yard. That's his house "sitting" on top of my head.

The smallie did not want to be reeled in and bent the rod over double as it zoomed under the boat. After a short fight, Doug got to play net boy and landed the fish. That was only fair as I had been playing net boy all week for him!!

Awesome.
If my house was on water like that, I'd never get anything done...lol

What did Doug do, win the trifecta at Churchhill before he defected to the north. Looks like a nice boat sitting over there too.

Peter, the angle of the photo is deceiving. That's his neighbor's boat. Their docks are fairly close together.
However, Doug has a Tracker at his dock (not shown in the photo) and we were fishing out of his Triton.
When he met Linda he said, "Send pic of boat and motor" !!
