Reels

Does anyone know where I can take my reels for cleaning and lube and grease. I got about 10 reels needs to be done and don't trust my self doing it. I live in the elizabethtown thanks.

There is a user here on Fishin.com that does reel repair/maintenance work. Look for a user by the name The Legend. He is located in Brownsville KY. I sent him a reel by mail. If your in Elizabethtown it would not be that bad of a drive to Brownsville.

If you do a search here on Fishin.com you will find that his name often pops up when someone is looking for a reel to be worked on. I had never used his service until about 6-8 weeks ago. I sent him a nightmare project. In my attempt to work on a reel I ended up loosing a small part. I basically sent him my reel in a million pieces. I have had it back a few weeks now and it works perfect...in the past I was using someone out of state for reel service. I have now found a more local guy who does good work.

Your website looks really professional. I'm going to send you a few reels this winter. Your rods look nice too, except the one with the pUKe wrap. Ha ha

I've used Chris for reel repair and cleaning as well as rod repair and I highly recommend him.
