Water is in good shape, mostly clear, river is stained, fishing has been slow hit and miss, lots of shad up creeks and river. Plastics and jigs have been producing best.
I just fished the BFL there this past weekend as a co-angler. Looking at the weights, it was tough for everyone and not just for me and my boater. The shad are packed into the creeks but we didn't catch much of anything back there with them. The best luck we had all day was first thing in the morning on the main lake with topwater. I would say that it's about to get pretty good in a few days though.
I fished the BFL also, caught a ton of slots I had two good keeper bites, both jumped off at boat, one went around 4 + and the other around 3, one was on rock the other wood, so fish are scattered. Good luck.

That blows... You would have gotten a decent check with those.
thanks everyone
I think the alligator they found in there ate all the bass.

Thats what I have been saying has been my problem all along there. But that would also suggest there are a lot of other lakes with gators since I do zero other places too. lol
Hahaha. Yea, pretty sure all the surrounding lakes are full of gators.
