Fished there earlier this week & found fish on standing timber in about 10-15fow and holding about 3-4ft deep. Caught about 20-25 with about half being keeper size. All fish released. Water temp was mid to high 70's and has a slight brownish tint coming on, possibly the start of a turnover. Fish are still not schooled up, and we caught onesies & twosies from any one tree.

Buddy ... I never really got on any "constant" Fall pattern at T-ville until mid Nov (in years past). That's after the turnover settles. water is at Winter Pool & stable and clear. Then the pattern was usually cedar trees in 20+fow, fishing about 6-8ft deep among the branches ... and some large, deep trees (>30fow) at 10-12ft deep. But, that was back when I was using minnows as a rule ... and the White Crappie population was in the majority. Not sure if these patterns will hold up, nowadays, since I haven't fished there in mid-late Fall for quite a few years.

Most in 20 ft of water fishing 10-12ft deep all on minnows. Friday was best day my buddy and me caught about 40 total only keep 20 better fish. I think that it will get better in November.

If you don't mind my asking :
Were you fishing over brushpiles/laydowns, spider rigging open water, or fishing the standing timber ??
