Hows the bite been on Green?
Hows the bite been on Green?
From my experience a week ago.....SLOOOOW!! bait balls in the back 1/2 of the creeks but not much feeding on them as of yet. I would expect the shallow bite to get better every day though.
thanks

Maybe because of the cold front or something but most of the bait balls we saw were suspended on the deep side of offshore drop-offs that were close to the creeks. We saw/heard a few fish busting the shad schools that were on the surface but we couldn't get them to bite. Judging by the size and speed of the splashes I suspect it was muskie.
Good bags to be caught if ya know where to look. You can go shallow and fight the crowds to fish for smaller fish or go deep and either catch good fish or strike out. Im sure youre asking for the KBF this weekend just like the other 30 boats i saw out there yesterday. I had an hour or an hour and a half to fish after work yesterday afternoon and had some good fish. Had a 6, a 4, a 15"er, and broke another big one off. Im convinced the bigger number of big fish dont chase the shad shallow on green
dang thems some pigs nice job

Thanks Fishin nice catch there.
