Anyone know anything about this lake?
It's been about 4-5 years since I've been on it, but unless you just enjoy being on small waters, I'd find somewhere else to go. I've only bass fished there. Bass were hard to come by and not much size...maybe a 2lber if you get really lucky. I've talked to people who've crappie and bluegill fished there this year and they tell me it's not much punk'n.
Wound up going on Saturday with my nephew for strictly C&R. Started about 6:30 am with top water stuff. Caught several 2 lb fish within a couple hr's. As the day wore on and the sun got higher, the bite went down. Changed tactics, and caught a few more small fish on cranks. Fished till about noon then left.
I can see where there could be some larger fish in there. Overall, not a bad outing, and the setting was great.
Supposedly there is a waterfall somewhere there, but we did not see it. Must be on one of the trails around the lake.
